Seasoned Carrots

Ingredients:

6 large carrots (cut into sticks, medallions, or whatever shape you like!)2 TBSP butter1 TBSP water

1 TBSP of seasoning (any of our seasonings will do!)


Directions: 

  1. In a microwave-safe dish with a lid, combine carrots (already cut to desired shape), butter, water, and seasoning.

  2. Microwave covered for five minutes then stir.

  3. Return to microwave and continue cooking covered for 3-4 minutes more or until preferred doneness is achieved.


Pro-tips: 

  1. Try it with these seasonings:

    1. Mediterranean Basil Salt (and our spicy version too!)

    2. Zesty Italian

    3. Black Italian Truffle

    4. Maple Pepper

  2. We recommend supporting your local Farmer's Market when buying carrots (or other veggies!) for this recipe.

  3. You can also use a good quality olive oil instead of butter.

  4. Another way to cook these carrots is to coat them in olive oil and our seasoning(s), then sauté them in a saucepan on low to medium heat to desired doneness.
